Travelers Plus Chiayi International Youth Hostel

The Guesthouse Chiayi International Youth Hostel is a renovated version of the Mei Yuan Department Store, which was self-operated in the 1960s. It retains the original old-fashioned staircase and the courtyard that runs through the hostel. You are welcome to stay overnight and experience the new look of the old house.

Located approximately a 10-minute walk from Chiayi Railway Station and just 200 meters from Chiayi Cultural Road Night Market, this accommodation offers a lounge, free private parking (limited spaces available, advance reservations required), and a courtyard.

The hotel's facilities include a shared tea room, refrigerator, microwave, mini oven, tableware, luggage storage and lockers, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and free breakfast (available until June 30, 2025). Backpacker rooms have shared bathrooms. A few suites are available for guests who require a private bathroom and TV, allowing you to have your own space. You can also visit the lounge to meet other guests.

Wenhua Road is one of the famous scenic spots in Chiayi City, Taiwan. It is located south of the Central Plaza on Minquan Road in Chiayi and north of Chuiyang Road Cultural Park.
